Welcome to the Arizona Quilters GuildOur purpose is to contribute to the knowledge of and promote the appreciation of fine quilts; to sponsor and support quilting activities; to encourage quilt making and collecting; to contribute to the knowledge of quilting techniques, textiles, patterns, and history through educational meetings, travel and fellowship. Start by exploring our Calendar to find quilt shows and events to attend. Membership benefits include access to Education Lectures and Workshops. Volunteers Needed ASAP for Encore
Encore Entry Coordinator
Communicate with the Entrants who will be sharing their quilted art (100 entries anticipated)
Organize the key events of Encore and work with the Entry Team to execute those events, including Quilt Drop-Offs, Intake & Hanging, Take-Down & Returns.
Skills and Technical requirements: (a) excellent communication skills with email & phone; (b) ability to organize details using spreadsheet and/or document tools (like Excel and Word); (c) lead a small Entry Team to distribute the workload.
