Select a chapter you find interesting or is near you, call the contact person and ask to attend a meeting. Non-AQG members may attend 3 chapter meetings before they must join AQG. Please note: some chapters charge dues over and above the AQG membership dues.How do I join AQG?
Complete an application and pay your dues on our website Join Us tab. You will be notified by email when your membership is received.I want to join AQG but don’t have time to attend chapter meetings.
We have a member-at-large option which allows you to participate in AQG sponsored events and classes without the benefit of joining a chapter. You may choose to join a chapter at any time throughout the year.Am I expected to be involved as a volunteer if I join AQG?
It is anticipated that all our members will take an active role of serving. There are many opportunities for volunteers, so it is best if you become familiar with what is needed and step up to a position that interests you and for which you have the appropriate skills.How does AQG communicate with its members?
There are several methods: The monthly Patchwork Chatter emailed with a link to the website for viewing, emails to all members or select members depending on the purpose, emails to chapter leadership, Membership Meetings, visits to chapters, etc.
