Quilters, it’s time to gather again– just for the fun of it! AQG has planned a day filled with many of the things we like to do: listening to 2 great lectures , shopping the vendors, trying our luck on wonderful raffle baskets . Come and join us.

Patti Pearce - Quilt Stories
Patti Pearce believes that our quilts have stories - why the quilt was made, the fabric used, creating the design, or the challenge of a new technique. The stories are just waiting to be told. For more than 40 years, she has been making quilts and finally figured out that she does it for entertainment since she certainly doesn’t need any more quilts. But she keeps stitching them because they make her happy. Her current projects include tiny houses, scrappy quilts, art quilts and vintage linens.
Patti has shared her quilts with guilds in Oklahoma, Missouri, and her home state of Kansas. She moved to Arizona four years ago and enjoys doing the same with quilt groups throughout the state.
Raymond Steeves
In the quilting world, Raymond “Ray” Steeves is known as 1 of the 3 Dudes of 3 Dudes Quilting and 3dudesquiltingdesigns.com. Along with Jeffrey and Frank, the Dudes owned the much-loved store of the same name for 9 years. They became known for their service, fabric selection, classes, original patterns and home-made cookies. During this time, Ray became enamored with pre-cuts and started writing patterns embracing these. His Let’s Strip It classes featuring these patterns were well-received.
Now, Ray offers a catalog of more than 50 quilt patterns which can be found at 35th Ave Sew & Vac Phoenix and A Quilter’s Oasis Mesa as well as on the website, 3dudesquiltingdesigns.com. He is an engaging speaker offering classes and trunk shows. And he continues creating and writing new quilt patterns.
