Free Styling and Spiraling

These improv-pieced spiral designs are sure to mesmerize and energize!! We’ll start with square spirangles and experiment with different design options and construction techniques. Then we’ll explore new spirangle designs: rectangles, triangles, hexagons, and diamonds...oh my!!

The workshop is conducted in two sessions -- allowing you time to sew in between.

Mel Beach is a San Jose, CA based quilt artist, teacher and lecturer, who breaks away from tradition by adding her own modern, beautifully textured, and colorful twists. She loves stretching her creativity through her completion of 100+ quilt challenges at the local and international level in addition to several 100-Day Projects involving a roll of dice. Her quilts draw upon her inquisitive nature of asking "What If?", “Why Not?”, working in a series, comedy improv studies, along with her love of nature, photography, and sketching.

Registration

• Members: log into your account on AQG's website to register for this event.  Class fee for members is $47
  
• Public can join as a Member for the Day for a $57 fee

 Cancellation Policy: 

• Cancellations must be made online (no emails).
• Cancellations 5 day (or more) before the scheduled event will receive an account credit.  The credit can be used for future AQG events.
• Cancellations less that 5 days (120 hours) before the event are not eligible for a credit.
  
• Refunds are not offered.
