Quilting rulers or templates are amazing tools! Gina will show you how to use them to create incredible free-motion designs. Participation in the workshop exercises is optional. Students can just listen and observe.

  • Leave this workshop with excellent techniques and a new supply of quilting designs
  • Learn how to use rulers to stylize your quilting designs with accuracy
  • Discover how to gain versatility with each tool and adjust them to fit the size of your quilting space
  • Learn how to use rulers with grid stencils as a reference for perfect placement when creating designs

Ruler work requires you to have a ruler foot for your sewing machine and at least the slide-on table that comes with most machines. An extended table is highly recommended. You cannot do ruler work on a free arm. The ruler must be supported by the table. See the instructors' supply lists for more information. Visit your LQS or sewing machine dealer if you don't have these.
