Quilters, it’s time to gather again– just for the fun of it! AQG has planned a day filled with many of the things we like to do: listening to 2 great lectures , shopping the vendors, trying our luck on wonderful raffle baskets . Come and join us.

SPEAKERS:
Krista is the creative force and inspiration behind Krista Moser, The Quilted Life. She is the designer of the 60 Degree Diamond Rulers for Creative Grids, and has published dozens of patterns, using the rulers, with more in development all the time. She loves symmetry, clean lines with bold colors. She thinks shapes that tessellate in all directions are a playground for design.
A quilting and fiber arts enthusiast, she started sewing at 8 years old. She began her professional sewing and machine quilting career at the spunky age of fourteen and has now been teaching sewing and quilting lessons for more than twenty years.

Ken Casey is a native of Phoenix, AZ. He has been quilting for about 40 years. He moved to Eugene in September of 2016.
As a young adult, he was a stained glass artist, then transitioned to quilting. In his quilting journey, he spent several summers at Quilt Camp in the Pines assisting and taking classes from internationally known teachers. This experience further developed his skills. He has had quilts in shows across the country.
Ken spent many years teaching and assisting quilters at Zoe’s Trunk, Quilter’s Ranch, The Bernina Connection, and Three Dudes Quilt Shop. He was one of the founders of The Prickly Piecers in Ahwatukee in 2004. He continues expanding his horizons instructing, designing, and long-arm quilting for others.
He LOVES to play with color and using unexpected combinations. He likes challenging himself to try new techniques as often as he can. He has served as vice-president as well as being on several committees since joining the Emerald Valley Quilters’ Guild. He was honored to have been the Featured Quilter in the 2024 Quilt Show. He has also served as President of the Eugene Modern Quilt Guild.
Ken lives in Eugene with his handsome husband Ron; and their sweet and comical dogs Glady and Elphaba.

11:30 AM to 12:30 pm – Lunch on your own. You can bring your lunch or go out to the various restaurants.

1:00 PM to 2:30 PM – Ken Casey
2:30 to 3:00 PM Raffle & Silent Auction winners announced

1) Bring your lunch or Go on your own. There are many restaurants nearby from fast-food to trendy kitchens.
2) We will have an ice cream truck on location from 11:30 to 12:30PM for dessert (pay on your own)
