With over 39 years in the art of quilt making, Kathy is known for her classes that provide beginners to advanced students with new and exciting skills in a positive and supportive atmosphere. 

Kathy shares that it took her many years of quilting before discovering Studio 180 Design tools. She never imagined the types of quilts or the precision she is able to achieve with these tools. Kathy will illustrate this with a Trunk Show and explain the techniques and tools used to make them.

Kathy Tucker is an expert quilter with certifications teaching Studio180 Design, Advanced Laura Heine, and a Longarm Quilter providing E2E and custom quilting techniques. She is also a Nationally Registered Teacher with Electric Quilt (EQ8). With her husband Stan, they teach and create Barn Quilts.  As a long-time educator, she specializes in classes that are inspiring and educational while meeting the needs of each individual learner and skill level. With over 39 years in the art of quilt making, her classes provide beginners to advanced students with new and exciting skills in a positive and supportive atmosphere.  Kathy’s motto is "You are never to young or too old to learn, develop, and perfect your skills and love of quilting."
